Sony E5823 Xperia Z5 Compact - Android Nougat E-mail Manual configuration (outlook)

To use your Sony Xperia Z5 Compact to send and receive e-mails, you need:

• An e-mail account with an internet service provider.
• An active internet connection. Click here for instructions.

  Now follow the instructions to set up your e-mail.

• Go to the Start screen.
• Choose Apps.

• Choose Email.

• If this screen appears, choose GET STARTED.
• If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.

• If this screen appears, choose the options symbol. Then, choose Settings and then Add account.
• If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.

• Choose Email address and enter [[sp_email_address]]

• Choose NEXT.

• Choose Password and enter [[sp_email_password]]

• Choose NEXT.

• If this screen appears, choose an option, in this case ALLOW.
• If this screen does not appear, skip the next step.

• Choose an option, in this case ALLOW.

• If this screen appears, choose an option, in this case ALLOW.
• If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.

• Optional: tick an option.
• Optional: choose SHOW MORE SYNC OPTIONS for more options.
• Choose NEXT.

• Optional: tick an option.
• Optional: choose SHOW MORE NOTIFICATION OPTIONS for more options.
• Choose NEXT.

• Under Set account name (optional), enter [[sp_email_name]]
• Choose FINISH SETUP.

• The e-mail account has been configured and is ready for use.
• Return to the Start screen.

• Start screen.
• Switch your Sony Xperia Z5 Compact off and then on again to activate the settings.
