To use your Samsung Galaxy S9 to send and receive e-mails, you need:

* An e-mail account with an internet service provider. * Login information for ingoing and outgoing e-mail servers. Click here for more information. * An active internet connection. Click here for instructions.

* Start screen. * Switch your Samsung Galaxy S9 off and then on again to activate the settings. * This mobile phone can now be used to send and receive e-mails. Click here for instructions on how to send e-mails.

* Go to the Start screen. * To open the menu, swipe up or down on the screen.

* Choose *Samsung*.

* Choose *Email*.

* If this screen appears, choose the list symbol. Choose the settings symbol and then *Add account*. * If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.

* Choose *Email address* and enter [[sp_email_address]] * Choose *Password* and enter [[sp_email_password]]

* Choose *MANUAL SETUP*.

* Choose *POP3 account*.

* Scroll down. * Under *POP3 server*, enter [[sp_email_pop]] * Under *Security type*, choose [[sp_email_sectype]]. * Under *Port*, enter [[sp_email_popport]]

* Scroll down. * If *Authentication required before sending emails* is disabled, enable *Authentication required before sending emails*. * If *Authentication required before sending emails* is enabled, go to the next step.

* Under *Username*, enter [[sp_email_smtp_username]] * Under *Password*, enter [[sp_email_smtp_password]]

* Choose *NEXT*. * The information will be verified. * If an error message is displayed, verify the settings and choose *NEXT*.

* Under *Sync schedule*, choose an option. * Optional: untick *Notify me when email arrives*. * Choose *NEXT*.
