Do you not have mobile internet abroad?

  • Roaming may have been disabled on your device. Drag the arrow symbol up and go to Settings > More > Mobile networks to enable roaming.

Did you have mobile internet abroad, but it suddenly no longer works?

  • You may have reached the default data limit for data roaming, so that using mobile internet has been deactivated.

Do you specifically not want to use mobile internet when abroad?

  • Ensure then that roaming has been disabled on your device.

Are you experiencing problems calling or being called when abroad?

  • If you are experiencing problems making or receiving calls, there may be a problem with the network coverage. This is probably due to your location, for example a garage or concrete building. Test to see if a change of location helps.
  • If this fails, check the network coverage in your area, or see if changing networks helps. Read the instructions below for this.

How can I limit my internet costs when abroad?

  • You can limit the charges in several ways. Consult whichever of the following instructions applies.

Have you rebooted the device?

  • Many problems can be solved by simply rebooting the device.
  • Turn your Pixel off, reboot it and check whether the problem has been solved.
  • If you cannot reboot the device the normal way, you can also force it. To do this, hold down the power button until the screen goes black.

Did you install the most recent device software?

  • Your problem may be resolved through a software update. Check if a new version of your software is available.
