Manual configuration
- Settings for mobile internet can not be sent to your Acer Liquid E3 via SMS.
- You can configure your phone manually for mobile internet. Follow the step-by-step instructions below.
- Go to the Start screen.
- Choose the menu symbol.
- Scroll to the right.
- Choose Settings.
- If Data enabled is unticked, tick Data enabled.
- If Data enabled is ticked, go to the next step.
- Choose Access Point Names.
- Choose the options symbol.
- Under Name, enter BASE Internet .
- Under APN, enter gprs.base.be (be aware of the dots).
- Choose APN type.
- If this screen appears, tick default, tick supl, and choose OK.
- If this screen does not appear, enter default, supl (Note: in lower case) and choose OK.
- Under Proxy, do not enter anything.
- Under Port, do not enter anything.
- Under Username, enter base (or leave empty).
- Under Password, enter base (or leave empty).
- Scroll down.
- Under MCC, 206.
- Under MNC, 20.
- Under Authentication type, choose PAP.
- Choose the options symbol.
- Tick BASE Internet .
- Return to the Start screen.
- Choose the options symbol.
- Enter http://corner.base.be and choose OK.
- The Acer Liquid E3 has been configured for mobile internet.
- Return to the Start screen.
- Start screen.
- Switch the Acer Liquid E3 off and then on again to activate the settings.
